Tam-Tam (2009–2011)

Handdrawn flyers for the monthly event Dem. Rep. of Tam-Tam, mainly inspired by traditional african wax-fabrics. The repeated objects are assembled by two different parts that result in a third surrealistic one. Additionally the flyers itself can be displayed side by side to create a seemless repeating pattern. For the backside the poster-font Poplar (formerly known as Condensed Gothic drawn by J.M. Debow in 1837) was redesigned and decorated with highlights. Later on Hannes Gloor invited us to contribute a poster for his 841mm project.
